Celebrate You!
A few years ago I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, it’s a thyroid condition. As result, I gained over 40 kgs. It took me a long time, but I eventually lost the weight and I wanted to show off my new body and be proud of myself for once.
I have been wanting to do a shoot for ages. I was a little bit nervous at the start, but after speaking to Lara on the phone and after all our text messages, I knew what to bring and felt I knew what to expect so I was feeling pretty relaxed when I arrived.
Getting my hair and makeup done was a really good experience because they did an amazing job.
The whole experience was eye-opening to be able to feel me becoming confident and being able to walk around just in my lingerie and liking it, that was a surprise and really nice.
OMG my photos!!!! I can’t even describe the quality of my photos as they are just amazing. I never thought they would turn out and look like that!!. I look amazing. I have never seen myself like that. I expected to look like …well, myself, but I felt and looked like a model, it felt incredible.
Lara’s photography is the best, I really could not have asked anyone else to do it better.
I still feel shocked looking at the pictures. I still can’t believe that’s me!
It doesn’t matter how you think you look, everyone is beautiful. Everyone should have a chance to do a shoot like this with Lara, you deserve it and you should just do it, I truly believe this. If you think you are not good enough, slap yourself and just do it, you have too, you will never regret it”.
